Baby Birthday Party
Over the weekend, I attended a friend's daughter's first birthday party. I also helped her make an array of hor d'ouevres for the guests. Together we put out a cheese and antipasto platter, mini pizzas with ricotta, caramelized onions, quiche with baby portobello mushrooms, arugula and parmesan, meatballs with blackberry BBQ sauce and tomato, mozzarella and basil skewers. Everything was a hit and someone even asked for the quiche recipe! This was the first party where I wasn't cooking just for close friends. I was a bit nervous actually. Hoping for more similar (paid) events soon!
